For Fall 2010, Lagerfeld staged Chanel around a real iceberg inside the Grand Palais and pushed winter dressing almost to the point of fantasy.
Faux fur, icy jewellery, shaggy surfaces and heavily worked tweeds turned cold weather into spectacle, while the strongest pieces kept Chanel’s tailoring discipline underneath all that texture.
