• Rare Runway & Advertising-Campaign Piece

  For Cruise 2010, Lagerfeld placed Chanel on the Venice Lido and built the collection around light: water, faded stone, metallic shimmer, Fortuny, café society and the slightly unreal glamour of Venice at dusk.
  Sequins and glass embroidery were used to imitate light glancing off the lagoon, while the campaign carried that same darker, cinematic Venetian mood.

• Crafted from exquisite woven tweed in a complex taupe-grey shade, moving between mushroom, soft graphite, silver and pale stone

• Fine metallic threads give the surface a restrained shimmer — more reflected light than sparkle

• CC logo jewel buttons punctuate the front tabs, pockets and cuffs

• Their silver-tone finish echoes the metallic shimmer woven through the tweed

• Two patch pockets keep the construction practical and balanced

• Inside, the piece is finished with tonal silk lining
